| "Jesus, Friend of a lonely heart. You are my haven, You are my peace, You are my salvation, You are my serenity in moments of struggles and difficulties amidst an ocean of doubts. You are the bright ray that lights up the path of my life. You are everything to a lonely soul. You understand the soul even though it remains silent. You know my weaknesses and like a good physician , You comfort and heal, sparing me sufferings - expert that You are."
Please Lord, watch over my family as we mourn the loss of my grandmother Erlinda Cruz. Keep us strong, and let my grandmother rest in peace with you and my late grandfather. | | |

| today in western civ...
i realized that i need to practice: prudence
[prudence n. the exercise of good judgment, common sense, and even caution, especially in the conduct of practical matters]
as we discussed the renaissance in class today, professor myers brought up the concept of: concordia meaning communal values. then as usual, he compared it to modern day society. he explained that as much as he'd like to say something that opposed 99% of the class, he has to learn restraint because of the fact that that 99% would most likely feel insulted and he would be ostracised.
so the lesson of the story is: i must apply prudence to comply with concordia...
